Maas Legal LLC provides mediation services. Mediation is a tool that can be used to settle disputes and create mutually beneficial agreements between parties.  This service attempts to resolve legal disputes through a third-party (mediation attorney) to end a conflict.

Mediation has been used to determine parenting time schedules, holiday schedules with minor children, as well as parenting decisions. 

Attorney Maas has 13 years’ experience mediating disputes between parties.  Deb Maas is not a judge, and doesn't decide the outcome. She works with both parties to find common ground on disputed items. Mediation involves discussions, and consideration of solutions that will balance both parties’ needs and circumstances. She'll help you have a conversation to come up with ideas, solutions, and alternatives to end your dispute in a satisfactory way to both parties.   Attorney Maas has helped many families draft their own agreement that work for their own unique family circumstances.

Anyone may request mediation. It does not have to be court ordered. Both parties must be willing to participate and make a good faith effort to negotiate a resolution.
